Just testing this out for now to see if you guys will be able to access it easily. We only have 6 days together left...eek! Just for a practice response, tell me one thing you would like to know more about during my trip to Japan.
I wanted to practice and see if I could upload a picture, so this is your interesting pic of the day! LOL...not so interesting right now! These are the shoes I have obsessed about getting. When you enter a Japanese home and many of the buildings, you have to remove your street shoes. I felt weird with slippers so thought these were a happy medium! :0)

Hi Miss Mitchell those shoes do not exactly look like something that you would wear around your house but I guess if they can do it so can you. I wanted to know can we read ahead a little bit in th Diary of a Wimpy Kid? Also how do you use chosticks? That's always been a mystery to me even though I like sushi.

Hey there Adrian...The shoes made me panic because the picture of the example they gave us were "slippers" that don't look quite like any slippers here. They told us as long as they were shoes that were never worn inside, we were good to go!
Wimpy kid----Have you read the second one? Instead of reading ahead in the one we are working on in class, why don't you grab the second one off the shelf. I saw it today and I think it is red. Let me know if you've read it already. :0) Oh and chopsticks? LOL...when I start my Japanese enrichment group that'll be one of the things we play with if you choose to join us. I'll be getting that going in January.
