Hey guys! I just got back from bank and exchanged some of our dollars for the Japanese Yen. They are much prettier than our money, I think! The bills are also different sizes! So here's your first challenge:See if you can figure out how much American money I started with in order to get the Yen pictured to the left. You'll have to find how much a dollar is worth.
I have heard there are some really neat "dollar" stores that have lots of great goodies in Japan and I will be sure to visit them! Anyone who emails me at mitchellh@stlucie.k12.fl.us the correct answer (which will be an estimate) will be entered into a drawing for some special Japanese goodies! DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWER HERE...EVERYONE HAS TO DO THE RESEARCH :0) Have fun and good luck with your search! Nope, not in Japan yet! Saturday I will be in Orlando and flying out at 6:15 Sunday morning to San Francisco. I'll have a new challenge for you Sunday night. :) Go find out how much those yen are worth and email me...I know I'll find some cool stuff for prizes!

Hi its Stuart,i hope your enjoying your stay.I'm sorry i didn't respond earlier,I didn't really get the time oh and LOL i cant believe that i rote China LOL.I'm so amused that Japans money looks a lot like Erupts money.I hope one day i get to go somewhere like Japan...Oh and one more thing,I found this funny add in a magazine,its this small remote and they clame that you can read a cats mind with it LOL strange but whenever your in a japenese store try to see if you can find it,unless your in a big store LOL.

Sorry I havent logged on in a little while. There's alot going on here to. What type of "traditional" stuff are you will you be doing today (I just did the math and found out your time there...SORRY!!).The school's actual open house or whatever was today. Speaking of school, we have ALOT of homework. Alright I have to go to football. Bye!
